Newham: A place where nothing, nothing ever happens…

NOT! We’ve been busy bunnies networking and making links…maybe bunnies is the wrong metaphor here? Anyway, ‘pAct Theatre’ was formed after Sarojini (you’ll never pronounce her last name) from Newham PCT asked Deb Scott-Lovric (that’s me ! but I’m writing in the 3rd person here. See how I big myself up-), writer, artist, teacher and community activist (‘come on, get cracking, community!’) to write a play which developed into street theatre with the help of Deb’s actor friends (credits will roll later) and Newham’s Act Up theatre group. See what we did? (Not the show- that had exclusive audience numbers) We put PCT and Act Up together to make pAct. Or it could be Pact. Or PAct. What d’ya think?
